Description
The AN5516-01 has a strong adaptability to the environment and can
be deployed quickly. In FTTx networks, the OLT is moved closer to
the user side, which can save backbone optical cable resources.
This solves the problem of a few users and long access distance,
when FTTx services are applied in an area with a low population
density.
Deployed at the remote end, including the base stations (BSs) and
outdoor environments
Connected to MxUs or ONTs and used in FTTB/C and FTTH scenarios

The product is designed to help carriers build networks with larger
bandwidths, higher speeds, and smarter connectivity to deliver
better service experience.
Providing GPON, 10G GPON (including XG-PON and XGS-PON), P2PGE, and
10GE access, the AN5516-01 OLT supports deployment on FTTH,FTTD,
FTTB, FTTC, and distributed converged cable access platform(D-CCAP)
networks. This makes it applicable to home access,enterprise
access, mobile backhaul, and Wi-Fi hotspot backhaul scenarios to
aggregate all services on one fiber network.
The AN5516-01 OLT functions as a large-capacity aggregation device
on the network to aggregate the traffic from ONTs, MDUs, and campus
switches, thereby simplifying the network architecture and reducing
the OPEX.
